— African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative

The African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative program is an innovative 12-month, leadership and business management capacity-building program that accepts 200 female entrepreneurs annually. The program’s blended-learning model – in which most activities take place digitally – releases AWEC from the traditional confines of in-person training programs and enables us to impact entrepreneurs across the continent and diaspora. — Safaricom’s Spark Accelerator Opens Doors for Tech Startups

Safaricom, M-PESA Africa, and Sumitomo Corporation have invited early-stage tech startups to join the Spark Accelerator program, which aims to accelerate early-stage startups\’ growth and scale their businesses. Apply here

— Women-Led Businesses to Receive 50% of $200 Million Grant for MSME Startups in Nigeria

Eligible MSMEs are set to receive grants ranging from $5 million to $10 million, with a strong emphasis on supporting women-led businesses, which will constitute half of the startups benefiting from the grant. The NPO, a private sector-driven initiative with full government support, aims to raise alternative funding for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and other crucial economic programs through collaboration with the private sector.
